I have seen the first Cutting Edge movie, but not the other 2(?). Are they worth a watch? I am in the mood for figure skater/hockey player ridiculousness...

#1 is by far the best, as far as I can tell - it has the perfect balance of kitsch and charm. I haven't seen #2 but everyone says it's actually terrible, and while #3 was objectively un-good, I found it very entertaining (the GIRL is the hockey player in this one! the villain couple act like they're in Blades of Glory!). #4 I plan to watch soon. /starved of decent figureskating movies

Ha! I'm totally gonna watch #3, especially since I've just found it's on the yube.

I know there's Japanese skating-themed movie being shown this winter -- maybe it will be good? (...Probably not.)
