It was my birthday yesterday! I am 27! I am also old, because my favourite present I received was kitchenware. Yes, it's true, with age comes maturity an irresistable craving for fancy kitchenware.

WOW, congratulations!!! :D That's amazing!!! :) I had an Economics professor who said at the end of the day, your rent receipts "and 80 cents will get you a cup of coffee" -- the idea being that a place you own is an investment, while a place you rent gives you nothing back at the end of the day. ;) So, congrats on your new purchase. :D

And I hope you post your novel when it's done -- I'd love to read it. :D
