I don't really know why* I love property shows ('Location Location Location', 'Grand Designs', 'Property Ladder', etc.) quite so much, but really, there's little on TV that I enjoy more. (I was planning on watching this season of 'The Apprentice', but it's on opposite 'Grand Designs'. Sorry, competing with Kevin McCloud's default expression of o__O

You are probably the only person on this planet who understands my obsession with property shows. Those 3 shows are what I became obsessed with when I finally got austar again last year.

I'm in love with the way Kevin McCloud talks about architechure.

I also spend most of Property Ladder yelling at the screen 'Listen to Sarah Beeny you DUMBASS she knows her shit!'

I really wish they'd show new episodes of PL here. I miss Kirstie and Phil!

Oh god, have you seen the episode of GD where there's an elderly couple renovating a house in France and Kevin intermittantly speaks in French through the episode? *dead* I may have a tiny crush on Kevin McCloud. >_>

Property Ladder is total car crash, because they NEVER listen to Sarah. It's all a spectacular exercise in feeling superior to the rest of the human race. :D

1 - OMG YES. (I'm like so in love with him lol) Did you see that one with the brother who was the architect? I swear Kevin was thisclose to smacking that smug bastard in the mouth.

2 - It's a wonder that Sarah doesn't just go off her nut on some of those people. I do love that she always gets the developers back in the voice over lol. Mum and I play this game with early eps.. it's called the pregnant/not pregnant game... for the 1st two seasons it was so funny because of the timeline/editing.

3 - I know I know. I've made a vow to post every day starting April first.. even if it's inane crap. Because this just can't go on anymore i would de-friend myself if I could.

Oh, I love Kevin McCloud. I love how at the end they have panning long shots of the house and then he walks on and asks really thoughtful, rhetorical questions to the camera like "what makes a home?" and "what do we need to be happy?" Also like how he calls out bullshit and is critical when the people have obviously fucked up. He's great!

The previous (or recent) M+S window displays had Jimmy Carr, Bob Mortimer and Martin Freeman in them. They had a theme even if the idea of the three of them modelling for M+S was just bizarre.

But the Twiggy, Myleene and Erin O'Connor combination? What's the link?! :| It's like they pulled names out of a hat. Weird.
