What a beautiful picture of two characters with a common thread!
Our mothers were friends, shared tea
is a brilliant way to link these two at the beginning, I loved that surprise connection.
Such a poignant story and wrapped up with a hard punch!

I love when you like my stories. I love yours, so it somehow means more coming from an author I admire. ♥

I started out by writing this as backstory for my RPG, where Cho's death is canon, so I sort of forgot that it would shock. I'm afraid I can't take credit for the idea, as the mother-friendship and the comparisons were established by the previous player. I just made it pretty. *g* (Should probably write that in my notes....*goes to do that*)

This one felt good to write, as I've had that you're-my-friend-but-I-envy-you-so-much relationship, and it's really not fun. I'm so glad you liked it!

I really liked this fic and the way you described Su's mixture of jealousy and want for recognition. I'm always interested in seeing how other people write Su Li and was very happy to have found your interpretation.

I am currently writing a fic with Su as one of the main stars and was wondering if you wouldn't mind looking it over to see if I got her character or not. Either way, thanks.

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked this. I had one of those bunnies that wouldn't quit until I wrote it. I've never seen Su in fic, although I play her in an RPG. I'd love to see your fic, although I should caution that I've never beta-ed before, so I may not be able to help much. I'll try, though.

Oh it's alright that you've never beta'd before. I'm mostly just looking to see if Su's character is realistic. I want her to be sort of bossy, independent, intelligent and just a bit cunning, while also being insecure and confident at the same time

So first of all, I'm sorry it took so long to respond to this. I've got a nasty cold and have been terribly blah all weekend. Fun.

As far as your fic goes, it's a cute story. I think you pretty well accomplished what you were aiming for, with Su's character. I didn't pick up the insecure part, but it's a short fic, so. I like how she out-Slytherin-ed the Slytherin at the end. *g*

Also, just out of curiosity, how did you stumble upon my journal? I only recently made my fic public and I haven't cross-posted much, so I wondered.
