First, I don't know if anyone remembers that I ever wrote these 2 small stories about Meredith and Derek, which were mostly about those 'nothing' moments in their lives. I did, and I am partway through a (last) chapter for 'more reasons ( Read more... )

Off course I still remember you fics, but I still have to catch up the last chapters of “Midnight”. I promise I will catch up on them both!

I get what you mean, I’m writing my thesis right now and it’s killing me that everyone has free time. And the weather doesn’t help either.
I don’t think you need my advice. I really suck when it comes to studying for exams. I always procrastinate till the last moment. Then I start to freak out and study like a maniac. I only get things done while I’m under pressure. So I end up not sleeping for three or two days before the exam. I live off Red Bull, black coffee and take out and study 24/7. It somehow has always worked for me.

Just the SMELL of red bull makes me queasy. I'm not good with energy drinks-- the whole crash and burn thing...and the crash is ugly. I usually use the procrastination technique too, but there is ZOMG SO.MUCH.TO.LEARN!! :(

-_- Why can't real life hospitals be like SGH? LOL. I have yet to see that many good looking people in a medical building. I'd also like to know how those residents make time for lunch. Over here all they have is a can of coke and chips while running through the hallways...

:( That sucks, maybe you should just divide everything you have to learn in a few parts and then reward yourself with a night out if you complete studying each part. Giving yourself an incentive might work.

Yeah I think residency is real life isn’t as romantic as SGH makes it look like. Hell, if attendings looked like Patrick Dempsey, I’d switch from law to medicine *lol*.
