I was surprised at the lack of knowledge of Gresham's Law from all concerned including Ms Coren. And also as it being described as "humorous". Maybe I don't see the right stand-up but I don't really see early modern economics as the cutting edge of modern wit and satire.

Did you see The Bubble? It was quite terrible, but La Coren and Young David Mitchell flirted like billy-oh. (And then had a conversation about whether the characters in Thomas the Tank Engine could be gay which made me quite cross, as they have obviously never watched it and thus are unaware of Annie and Clarabel's epic romance.)
