... that Siobhan Redmond was in The High Life. That was a nice unexpected surprise. (BBC4 are repeating it, starting last night - I taped it and now I'm watching it.)

I'm going to have to ask for Between the Lines on DVD for my birthday this year, I think.

2. I liked the remake of Terry Nation's One Other Good Idea Survivors, myself. ( minor spoilers for the opener, haven't seen #2 yet )

So, Burn Up finished on BBC2 this evening. It is a Big International Coproduction Srs Drama Miniseries (3 hours split into two chunks for UK consumption) about global warming and peak oil and "OMG everyone the end of the world is coming! • I unexpectedly got to see the middle third of Eurovision and then the voting. There were a surprisingly large number of the songs I saw that I would not turn off if they came on The Hits. Iceland's in particular was a good fun bit of disco stuff.
