So begins the ComicCon posts

This one is full of general photos from around the Convention Centre. Panels will be coming later.

Here is the outside of the Convention Centre. I really kind of love this building

For the duration of ComicCon there was something of a takeover of the trolley stop outside of ComicCon

And here is the explanation as to what happened

So, since the first panel tahariel and I wanted to go and see was the Burn Notice one, we decided to get up slightly later than, well, any other day of ComicCon. Looking out the window, this was what we saw for Hall H.

Which is busy, right? But then it gets longer...

...and longer...

...and finally ends.

Looking at the program, turns out that Tron: Legacy was that morning, so really, it made total sense. Also, the conversation between Joss Whedon and JJ Abrams was later that afternoon.

The line on Saturday wasn't much better. This was what it looked like once I was back after the Chuck panel.

I'm sure it will surprise no-one if I tell you that this morning was the panel that included Green Lantern and Harry Potter.

This was the line on Sunday morning, at about 6.30, to get into the Convention Centre

This was the day that saw Smallville and Supernatural in Ballroom 20 and Castle in room 6BCF. What was kind of insane was that Hall H was closed and they didn't think to use it for either of the big TV panels happening that day. I have no idea what happened in the Smallville/Supernatural line, but in the Castle one they had to close the line over an hour before the panel started because it was so very obvious that people already weren't going to get in. It was almost as if they had forgotten that Nathan Fillion was in Firefly and has a huge following.

So, this was put up on the front of The Hilton. It was kind of awesome. On the approach to the airport you could see this big red blob on the Hilton and once we'd landed you could see the picture, too.

And this just made me laugh

And now for various things on the exhibition hall floor

And my favourite comic store. I think it's fair to say that I spent the majority of my money here

And that's it until I get the photos from the panels up.
