Oh, god, the Fantastic Four references cracked me up! The annoying girl he's had to singe on occasion, and

In the ghastly nightmare about the bendy version of Horatio, William had actually started to spout nonsense just to see what would happen. Hornblower had carried on oblivious, as if he were expecting a load of tripe to be uttered around him.

Well, yes. *g*

One of the worst two hours of my life was taken up by that film. I still bear the emotional scars; therefore I have to exact revenge whenever I can.

Quick disclaimer: any resemblance between the screenplay of FF and a load of tripe is coincidental. *g*

Aawwww. Bush gets to be Arthur? *grin* No wonder he doesn't want to wake up. If I had an armful of leather-clad almost-Horatio, I wouldn't either.

I really love Bush's list of things which are constant in his universe, and his grudging admittance (possibly with a little hope behind it?) that things might change. I also love his rather Scrooge-like insistence on blaming his diet for his visions (more of gravy than of grave...*grin*). The list of his past dreams had me in stitches.

Next time he comes into my dream by mistake I'll send him over.

I really think that a leather clad Horatio might just drive book Bush completely mental. (And there was an element of Scrooge in there; also I suspect that most sailors are obsessed with food and drink, especially when it lacks variety.)

Thank you for all the kind words.

And not a single one of us would blame him for running just a little bit mad. I know several of us who would. *grin*

For once, I include myself out of that grouping.

Hee! This is fabulous! I love the sense of humor you bring to this. Poor Bush, though you *know* he had to have fun being Johnny.

Thank you. As soon as I got my challenge I knew this was what I had to do.

I bet he really enjoyed being Jonny, on the quiet. In his version, he wasn't related to Sue, naturally; he has enough of sisters in real life.

OMG I loved this. What a great idea. And poor WB! Lovely characterizations, and I really liked the mixing of all the fandoms.

Well done. Thanks so much for sharing. And now I shall be filled with Ioan!glee all day. :)))

Thank you; that idea appeared in my noddle the first day I got my assignment. I adore William Bush and he's such a tragic figure.

I hope your Ioanglee day went well.
