I don't even know where this came from, to be honest...One moment I was listening to Richard Marx's "Endless Summer Nights" on my MP3 player, and all of a sudden THIS came crashing down on me, and before I knew it I was at the keyboard typing away.

But I'm glad that you liked it...but it is really sad...in a sort of happy way...kinda.

I'm glad you liked it...I'm not too confident about my 'sentimental' works (especially since most of them come out of 'out of the blue' bursts of inspiration), so I'm glad that it sufficed somehow.

But yeah, the Old!Ed angle was something I really liked about this. I write far too many 'Alfons lives yay' AU oneshots that, despite the fact that this came onto me completely out of nowhere and I'm a little nervous about this piece in general, I'm kinda glad that I made a change.

...Even if this story did come out of nowhere. >.
