Great analysis of A2A. I have to say I love that show and the direction has been brilliant.

It really has from the beginning. I'm so glad to see it's maintained such quality, even gotten better.

I think the point was that the Daleks won, that next time the Doctor meets them, there won't be just a few, there'll be hundreds or more. And it's because the Dalek's plan of using the Doctor as a wake up call worked.

It makes the Daleks more dangerous. They knew the Doctor wouldn't be able to let the Earth be destroyed just to stop them and they took advantage of that. Showing intelligence in the Daleks, to me, only makes them look more dangerous.

All of those shots are lovely- I seriously went UNF on the rooftop scene, I mean GAWD that is gorgeous. I'm so impressed, this is what television should be.

"Guy Who Looks Like A Diseased Sheep"
This. LMAO.

I absolutely dispise Keats, and hope that you're right - that everything he plans will backfire.

Another point about things being missed out, (although like you said they won't have time to include everything, even if this is very important), what happened to Molly? Alex seems to have forgotten pretty much about wanting to go home to see her daughter. Like she says in 3.01, she feels alive now, things feel real. I think she is now prefering to be in 1983, just like Sam did for 1973. Or maybe she has just come to terms with the fact that she is dead, or will never get home.

So many questions!
(And yes, the direction is BEAUTIFUL so far this series)

He's been around forever! Who the fuck is he? What does he DO? Why does he give such epic life to the term 'mutton chops'? So many mysteries!

Alex seems to have forgotten pretty much about wanting to go home to see her daughter.

That seemed to happen full-force after Keats said and Alex concluded that she was in 1983 for a purpose. We've seen that she's a very goal-oriented, focused individual; I saw it as a renaming of her goal. She finds her purpose, she gets home to Molly. It isn't just a vague return anymore, she has a goal to achieve to get there. So I'm not convinced she's let go of Molly entirely.

A2A analysis of awesome! (and agree.)

I'm loving how DW looks as well. I swoon very easily for retro. The inside of the TARDIS makes me gleeful every time I see it now.

ME TOO. Though I want to see where the swimming pool ended up. I'm unreasonably worried about the contents of the TARDIS library and water damage.
