I dunno if you noticed, but guy who looks like a diseased sheep's name is Poirot.

I think he has a rank too...I can't remember it. I suspect he's a DI.

I love our nameless, lineless, fuzzy extra!DI with his LITERAL mutton chops.

Great post. I tend to analyse the show based on word choices and references; I pay less attention to the visual stuff like composition of shots. It's nice to have someone point out the importance of these dramatic ingredients! I'll look forward to further analysis in this vein.

I suspect that Jim Keats' plan is going to totally backfire and I think that's hilarious.

I agree - it's looking that way so far. (That said, the writers like to pull the rug out from under us. As soon as we've come to expect Keats's manipulations to fail, I worry that they're going to work just fine ( ... )
