I'm so glad I discovered the Galloway group and started using their run/walk interval method! It would have been so much harder, both physically and mentally, if I had had to run the whole distance (or, more likely, if I'd attempted to run the whole distance, burned out before the end, and didn't have a good walking plan in place for the rest). Also, it still makes me go "eeeee" to be called "Marathoner"! :D

Aww, thank you so much! I'm pretty sure that back in high school, I would have won the "least likely to run a marathon someday" award!

They had close to 2000 porta-potties, I believe, with blocks of them every mile starting at mile 3.
