Wu Fan stood rooted in the middle of the courtyard, crinkled campus map clutched in his hands as his eyes shifted from building to building. It was his first day at the new university, and he regretted not moving in on time for the orientation. He tried to make sense of the hangul written on the map; while he was fluent enough in Korean to be

"Apparently he was famous in his home town." One person would say. Moments later someone else would join in with the conversation.
"I heard he spent a year in Canada, and was on a film set!" The list went on. He did this and that, and everybody everywhere was enchanted by his stunningly handsome looks.
Frankly it was getting on Baekhyun's nerves. Already he hated him. He probably was someone with a stuck up personality who loved it when people worshiped at his feet. He would also be one to go thr easy way. Using his looks to get by.
"Digusting." Baekhyun mumbled to himself as he walked through the quad. "Just get to class and then everyone will shut up about him." Baekhyun spoke out loud. Earning a few odd looks from the people around him.

Baekhyun's eyes narrowed when he heard the slight Chinese accent in the male's voice. Suddenly recognizing him as the new transfer student. However the question he asked made a smirk form on the brunette's lips.
"Can you not read hangul or something? God why'd they even let you come here if you can't even read? Tsk tsk." He shook his head before finally answering the male's question. "Yes this is Anatomy II." He said, pushing past the taller male and walking into the classroom.

He avoided the boy he just talked to like the plague. There were plenty of seats open still, and he made the conscious effort to select the one farthest from him. Wu Fan sighed as he sank into the uncomfortable chair, opening his backpack and pulling out his notebook. He decided to doodle in the margins until class began, but he couldn't stop himself from looking over at the cold brunette from time to time.

"Baixian? Is that my name in Mandarin?" He asked, taking a long sip of the drink, his face brightening up at the sweet taste.

"'Baixian', yeah." The elder smiled sheepishly, blushing just a little. "That's what your name would be in Chinese. It's also a township."

"L-look Wufan...about earlier. Um...well I didn't mean any of it...I just woke up in a bad mood and hearing the same things over and over again got me annoyed so when we met I was angry and annoyed and I didn't want anything to do with anything. And I'm just really sorry. I shouldn't have treated you like that..especially on your first day..." He said, the apology becoming more of a babble than anything else so he ended it as fast as he could.

"Thank you, Baekhyun." He said quietly. "I was really hoping that I hadn't offended you, and I'm glad that I didn't. Not directly, anyway - Believe me, I'd rather not have everyone talking about me, either." The blond sighed deeply. But then shook his head with a smile.
"Can we.. Start again?" He held out his hand politely, hoping for the younger to take it.

The brunette finished his mini speach, crossing his arms. "But right now /you/ have to leave. My roommate will be coming back soon and he doesn't like company on week days." The younger boy grabbed onto Wufan's arm pulling him towards the door. "I'll see you in class tomorrow. Bye~!" He said, closing the door before the elder had a chance to speak.

Fishing through his back pocket, he pulled out his campus map and a pen. Tearing a piece from the edge of the paper, he wrote a note.
"If you think I need practice, I'd be more than happy to learn from you. Later Baixian. - Wu Fan"
He wrinkled his nose a little at his less-than-perfect Korean penmanship, but it was readable. He wrote both Baekhyun's and his own name in Chinese, followed by his phone number at the bottom. He folded it once and slipped it underneath the door before making his way back down the hall.

The sun was beginning to set, but he figured he might still have a good hour or so of daylight left; so he took his phone from his pocket, plugged in his headphones and began walking around the quad.

Minseok kicked his feet slightly as he bounced on the bed, testing the comfort level of it. He chuckled to himself before turning his attention to the confused male.
"I want to tell you that I know you're not the one who started that rumor about Baekhyun." He said, biting his bottom lip.

His smile fell again, however, as soon as his companion brought up the rumors. Wu Fan looked at the carpet instead. "I know I'm not, either. I'm glad you believe me."

"I'm glad we squared most of this away, but... How do I get Baekhyun to believe any of this? Does he even know that Chanyeol's back?"
