The snow hasn't let up, but my current...house guest does not seem to be bothered. He's been surprisingly resourceful with finding bits of food. I'm not really a pet person...but I think he's growing on me, despite his rather odd appearance

I have nothing against free will, but there is very little deterrent to stop people from such things if their own morals fail.

How does one know the light if they're always in full sun? Take someone like me. I'm admittedly about as evil as they come. Put someone good near me, and most people will see that person is good and probably follow them versus me.

It is a way, yes. Irresponsible actions happened, I suppose.

It's sad that death had to be the way they got their point across, but I suppose sometimes it is only the extremes that get noticed. However, I did not see any other less violent actions taken beforehand. Such is human nature, I suppose. What upsets me most is the innocent people that were killed.
