I am in the military deployed overseas. At the dining facility where we eat, there is a requirement to wash your hands before you eat. And I can understand why. No problem there. There are sinks and paper towels and soap so you can do it conveniently before going inside

Mmm. Could have had plenty of stories like that, a few years back. But I find myself increasingly disinclined to spend emotional energy on reacting to annoying people -- I'd rather just walk away and avoid them in the future. Don't know if that's an INTJ thing or just aging, mind :)

No offense to the men and women in uniform, but if you don't like innane rules and have problems being told what to do, the military might not be the job for you.

I don't have a problem following rules, provided they serve a purpose. And there are many things I like about it so I put up with it. Let's just say one particular individual rubbed me the wrong way.
