Ugh watching that last scene made me go OMG I WANT POST-EP-FIC. So yep I'm writing it.
Ugh the freaking heartbreak etc.
The whole 2 parter as a whole has a heap of case stuff in it, I think in some ways part 1 is better (like on average, consistency etc) but yeah the Goren/Eames scenes in part 2 were just OMG YAY.
Late reply here, because at the time I was behind in Bones and didn't really understand this crying business. But I came across this entry just now and saw your comment again... and you should just know that #100 did make my cry like whoahorse. We're talking actual sobbing and curling up in a ball here.
& I still miss my Goren and Eames and am so sad about what they had to go through... but grateful at the same time because I would not have been satisfied with A) random resigning or promotions to other department, B) Eames-death, Goren broods, goes rogue, solves case, then resigns, or C) no G/E in season premiere and just no goodbye at all.
In summary, why must our television loves break our heart?

I approve of the last line too. It was fitting.
Hee. New DP. Glad to be of assistance there. <3
