Today was my first foray into selling my jewelery to complete strangers. I made Jason come along with me to the the Fremont Market. When we got there at 8:50 I almost thought we weren't going to get a table. The line in front of us was really long and they give the spaces to the Members of the Market first. That makes sense. Canopies: The best price I've found is at Family Dollar. I used one this weekend, and it was better than the Greatland one I'd had before. These are assembly canopies, but I can put one up by myself (EZ-ups require two people, in my experienc). The pieces all fit well, and the cover is white.

If you don't have any Family Dollars in your area, they have comparable canopies at Walgreens and Rite-Aid, in the under $40 price point.

They provide canopies for people who get there early or reserve spaces. You have to be a member to reserve a space. To become a member I need a city of Seattle business license. So, there are some things to think about.
