that is really cool. i can't say i'm quite as young and impressionable as i was last year, but i think you're a cool person. you're involved in a lot of things i want to do and be, and you do them well.

on another note (not entirely unrelated) i was curious about how you won the research prize last year. did you have to submit anything or did a professor nominate you?
