A big, BIG thank you to Lark and Nam for replying to the previous post. ;; I'll give myself today and tomorrow to write various drafts for the prompt on my test~ ♥ That way, I'll be relaxed and having fun and won't be panicking by the time the end of the month draws near. XDD

I am so gleed up for this story, you do not even know.
Personally, the only Raggedy Ann and Andy book I had was the one with the toy Sunny
Bunny. I tended to read it over and over when I was little, but until I got out on my own
getting more of the books was somewhat out of the question. I enjoyed watching that
one old cartoon with Ann and the blind girl, but my exposure to the character was...pretty
limitied. The funny thing was that I actually didn't fall in love with Raggedys until I read a
rather unrelated story about time travel and when the two main characters parted ways,
they exchanged dolls. One of which was a Raggedy Ann, which meant that there was a
huge historical conspiracy when a historical portrait showed an English noblewoman with
the doll that wasn't supposed to be invented for years.
Soooooooo....dorking out for your novel. =D
-offers hugs?-
(suddenly, I want there to be a meme. 'Draw/write yourself as the kind of toy you'd be!')

Oh gosh. That sounds so sweet. ;; Do you have any memory of where I can read this story or what it's called? It's not mentioned anywhere on the Raggedy Ann Wikipedia page and it makes me sad. :(

I do not remember the name of the book, sadly. D: I got it from one of the millions of Book Rack stores littered throughout Kentucky, and it got lost when my family moved, right after I went to college. But now I'm going to end up googling the crap out of everything I remember from the book. Hopefully it's been documented SOMEWHERE.
I know that the girl from the past had a porcelain headed doll which, like many rich girls during that time, looked exactly like her. I remember that she was staying with a modern family (and the other girl was the daughter in said family) and that the first girl FREAKED OUT over the fact that the modern mom had a real morning, wheres her mother has had like...a polished silver dish or something to use as a mirror. But it's been so long since I read it, I don't recall much more than that. DX
