Mario lands in the pipe chimney. Toad mimics the ol' run-and-dash and goes after him.
If this is your idea of getting more candy from Santa, you're so screwed. Toad skids in.
Mario: ...*whimper*
Everybody in this game worships Mario, then degrades him under the same breath. XD "You're so cool Mario! You're short for a hero, though... ooh, you jump so high! Ever thought of exercise? Oh Mario~! Him and his weird mustache!" Geez poor guy. Then Luigi gets it worse. XD
Toad ties the bow in his tux and grins as he gets ready for his big date.
And we can move again! Leave it to Mario to crush his dreams.
Pipe House! Mario's home nomnomnom.
Bleeding under the rubble somewhere, but you probably don't want to know.
"I'm contagious." I'd back away too if I was Toad.
"I hate to tell you this, but you're not Peach's first."
Any secret is safe with Toad, so it's no surprise to him Mario is in a fierce threesome with Peach and Bowser. Luigi is deliberately left out of it, which to him (for once) is a good thing.
"You forgot your wallet! I didn't take any coins from it!"
Which proves to be super useful. Especially when you find rare items (*coughSwordofKingsfromEarthboundcough*) and been leveling for hours, only to die to a stupid enemy or get zapped in a power outtage, leaving you to have to start everything over again. Grrr.
Map Time! Super linear, so you can only go where the circle paths highlight. Think of it as a big Connect-The-Dots! :D
Remember A Christmas Carol when Scrooge goes to open the door only for the knocker to turn into Jacob Marley's head, which howls his name and sends him off the porch? That's what happened to Mario here.
Remember the X/1999 sword that fell from the sky? Meet Exor! (Which for some reason, I keep thinking it's short for "Exorcist". A "cist" is either a tomb or a box/chest to hold sacred utensils. Like swords? Hmm... "Karibaa" is his Japanese name, which may relate to Excalibur, I don't remember. Someone correct me on this.)
Exor's mouth moves like a Muppet's as he speaks. Could he be controlled by Frank Oz? And he can be voiced by Sir Ian McClellan (Gandalf, Magneto), which would be really damn sweet. *____________*
Not that Bowser's middle claw has something to say about it.
So, what's Plan B gonna be?
Bowser: BITCH plz! What am I? Chopped liver!?
Mario is subjected to a lifetime of the Smithy Gang Rap.
I think Exor's supposed to be laughing, but I dunno, watching his mouth moving up and down like that looks kinda ridiculous. Makes sense Smithy's creations would be motor-run, eh? ;D ("Someone change him, he's out of batteries!")
Exor's booming monologue causes vibrations!
Well that fucking sucks. Mario jumps and leaves.
Did Bowser's Castle just get renamed? Ooooooooh BURN!
