Hikaru stare at the side of Kei where Kota is flying and waiting for him to respond back. Kota can really feel that he can see him but he is not 100% sure if his intuition is 100% right. His best friend look back at him and then he smiled. "I don't." he answered firmly. "I thought you don't believe on ghost so why are you asking this? Are you testing me if my resolution about paranormal things are really firm? Well it's not like i can see ghost all the time but i have a strong senses to detect if there is one."
"You liar, do you think i didn't know when you are lying." Kei answered him back. "You can see him right? He is Kota, the only ghost that i can see and the reason i believed now on their very own existence."
Hikaru was shocked with what Kei said. It's true that he lied to him. He can see him, all these time and he always wonder why he is following Kei. He first saw him in the school that day when Kei is been confessed by a girl. He is there and watching and then he noticed him following him in the comfort room but he thought that Kei can't see him so he act as if he doesn't exist as well besides every time there is a ghost around he is not saying anything coz everyone will be scared and cannot do things that they wanted to do. His friends love watching horror movies but when it comes to the real ghost they are scaredy cat. "Y...you can see him?" he asked in surprised as his hand is pointing to where Kota is flying and then he step back when he approach him.
"I don't want to repeat myself." Kei replied back.
"Good day Kota desu. You are Hikaru Yaotome-san right? Inoo-san's only friend." Kota introduced himself and even emphasizing on the last part of his sentence. Kei glare at him and Kota act as if he didn't say anything that make the introduction ruined.
Hikaru sighed, he look at both of them and then cross his arms together. "So what this is all about? Why is a ghost hanging around with a genius?" he asked out of curiosity but still deep inside of him he is bothered by the fact that Kei can see him.
Kei explained what's going on between him and Kota. He talks about the idea of making Kota going to heaven and he is helping him for that. He even told him all about the plans that they will do in the next few days and Kei asked for Hikaru's participation about it.
"Why do you want me to help that ghost? I am not a shaman or an exorcist." Hikaru said.
"Of course i know besides do you think i am one? More than that i know you can help us with this since you have more knowledge about the spirited world than i am. That's the reason i told everything to you."
Without further question Hikaru decided to join the team but it is not because he wanted to help Kota but it is because Kei asked for it and considering that his friend rarely asked for favour then he already grab the opportunity. They are childhood friends and they know each other for such a long time but Kei is not someone who asked a favour since he believes that he can do everything by his own which is kinda true but now he is asking for favour but not for his sake, it is for a ghost's sake who for some reason piss him off... Because they look so close together.

Hikaru and Kei walk together, they wander around the temple area and they saw a small bridge on it where people pass through. There is sign written on it. The three read what is written on it and it said that when you pass this bridge do not look back and as you pass make a wish and then it will be granted. Hikaru grab Kei's hand and that startled the latter. "Let's try it." he said and then he drag Kei going to the bridge. "Do not look back and then chant your wish."
"Do you believe in this kind of stuffs?" Kei asked him.
"Yeah and there is no harm if you will try it right?" Hikaru said and then he smiled. Kota is left on the end of the bridge and watch as Kei and Hikaru walk on the bridge holding hands. He knows that the two are close friends and holding hands with each other is normal on friends but he can't himself thinking that there is something on it or it is just his thought that he is also wanted to hold Kei's hand and he is jealous that Hikaru can do it.

"this is tiring." Hikaru whispered after they have a walk around the temple. "I'm hungry."
"Me too." Kei whispered. Hikaru looks around and then he saw there is a shop selling some onigiri and warm miso soup. They went there and ordered some to fill there growling stomach. While eating they talk about the spirit world and try to construct a plan for Kota. Kei asked if it is normal for a ghost to forget his memories when he is still alive and then Hikaru think about it first before he answered. For what he know memories will remain to those who are dead and there are circumstances that they can forget things especially if they died by accident or a sudden death. There are spirits that who died a sudden death cannot accept that they are already dead and so they blend in with the living though they are not actually seen.
By the way Hikaru explained about it now, Kei can understand why Kota cannot remember about his past and it is because he died by an accident and it is sudden but slowly those memories will come back until he will remember everything. There are ghost who acts grudgingly because they can't accept that they are already dead but there are ghost who accept the reality that they can't be alive again and so just go to heaven for their peace of mind but there are spirits who can't go to heaven because they still have something they wanted to do and they wanted to stay to the human world a little longer to watch over their love ones. There are ghost who can't go to heaven because their family members cannot accept their death and so they are jailed by their grieve and sadness.
"Then since Kota cannot remember anything at all the only thing we can do is to fulfil his wishes." Hikaru told Kei.
"Yeah and we started doing it already." Kei answered him. "We're going on a trip on Hokkaido and you're coming with us?"
"Huh? Are you nuts? We are just 14 years old i don't think my parents will allow me to go to Hokkaido by myself."
"It's going to be fine, i know how to go there."
"When did you go there alone?" Hikaru asked him in surprised. Kei wanted to answer that he go there alone when he is 18 years old but he thinks that its useless to say such thing especially that Hikaru will not believe his story after all. After eating all the food that they ordered they have a walk again. Their is a market nearby and so they look around. They sold some lucky charms that brings good luck for the year.
"So what did you get on your paper a while back? It's bad luck right?"
"If you know then don't asked." Hikaru was pissed off. "It's not a good way to start a year."
"It's alright, it's not like it's true after all." Kei replied to him.
Kota are looking around and then he saw some hats that really look good. There is one who he thinks will suit Kei but when he is about to call him he noticed that he is enjoying his time talking to Hikaru and so he didn't want to disturb them besides in a place like there are many people Kei will not bother to talk to him because it is weird to talk to someone who doesn't exist at all.

Kei looks around, his head tilted from right to left and Hikaru asked why. He said that he didn't see Kota for a while and he is sure that he is following them all this time. Hikaru also look around but he can't see that ghost. "Maybe he is just wandering around. Didn't you tell me that he loves girl hunting."
"Yeah but... He always excuse himself if he will do it." Kei told him.
"Seems like the ghost and you are closer than i thought. You know what 60% of our conversation is all about him."
"You can't help it, i am asking for your help to help him. Besides it's not like we have something in common that we can talk to each other. Aren't we the opposite pole? Until now i wonder how we can get along with each other despite of the differences."
"It's because we like each other.... As simple as that." Hikaru answered him. "But i am really surprised that you can stay with that ghost. Do you know how much i hate you because you always contradict my beliefs about spirits but now you are so clingy and close to him. I never seen you like this before."
"What do you mean?"
"Do you know that our classmates think that you are gay because you always turning down confession."
"And so? I really don't care about their opinion. It's not like it is my loss."
"That... That is the one... You are so selfish that you only focus on yourself but despite being self centered there are still things you can't understand about yourself and there are things that you can't see to your surroundings."
"I don't understand you at all"

"I'm going to search for Kota." Kei told Hikaru. He is not coming back for an hour already and it is something Kota does not do and so he felt that something happened to him. He is used to being followed by Kota and so without him around makes him feel weird. He start to walk but Hikaru stop him, Kei asked why Hikaru is trying to stop him but he didn't bother to answer that question and he let go of Kei's question.
"You are so selfish and so there are things that you can't see on your surroundings... I am not just a mere friend Kei... I am a friend in love with you." he whispered and then he sigh. "Why am i being jealous with a ghost." he asked himself and then he heard someone crying and when he looks around he saw a girl sitting on the ground and crying. He approach her, she is small and maybe about 10 years old. He help her stand up and then he noticed that she has wound on her knees and her stockings are torn.
"Are you alright?" he asked. He get a band aid on his bag which he always keep with him and then covered the wounds by it. "it's alright, it's just a small scratch no need to cry."
"Th...thank you onii-san." she told him. "B...but can you help me? i...i am loss. I can't find my brother. I came with him here but we got separated and i can't find him anymore."
Hikaru is thinking about Kei that time but he thinks that he will going to be safe compare to this little girl who is wounded and loss. He smiled and then agreed about helping the girl. He hold her hand and then they both start walking for her brother.

Kei looks for Kota but he can't find him at all. He can't even asked people about him since he is a ghost and no one can see him at all. He can't also used his phone to contact him and so he didn't know how to search for him. "Kota, where are you?" he whispered still walking around but he can't see a glimpse of him.
He tried to think, whenever Kota will going to leave his side he is always excusing himself but there is one time that he didn't do it and that is when they are in the park and he saw that lake. He didn't go home and maybe he saw something that can brings back his memories. Kota is attracted to peaceful places and he think of an area in that place where the ghost could go and then he remembered about the mini forest. He is not sure but he has a strong feeling that Kota could be there.
Kei went to the mini forest but he is welcome by a shouting lady. He immediately approach and saw Kota who is watching a lady being targeted by some thieves and there are 3 of them.
"Hey,what are you doing?" Kei asked. He is not that kind of person who stick himself in a dangerous situation but this is a point of no return anymore. Kota was shocked when he saw Kei approaching, he save the lady wearing a yukata who is sitting on the ground already. He immediately noticed that the lady is blind and it is used by those robbers to get her stuffs. "How filthy, to target a woman who is blind" he blurted out.
"Wh...what are you doing here?" Kota asked but Kei is ignoring him at all.
"Whoa such a cutie showed himself but he is a guy and added to that just a small brat." the guy in the middle said and that is when Kei realizes that he is not in his 20 years old body who knows self defence. He is on his small body who is still weak and no knowledge about martial arts and fighting but he didn't care anymore as long as he have his mind he can do it even on his small body. He can hear Kota saying something but he is just ignoring him but he is glad that he is alright.
One of the guy grab his collar and then lift him up pinching his face, Kei give them a death glare and that make the guy piss off that he punch Kei on the face. The woman who heard Kei's moaned and Kota who saw what happened was shock about what just happened. Kei's lower lip was cut and it is bleeding but he just wipe it away. Kota approach him and told him that he should just run away. "Inoo-san, y...you can't handle those guys. Run away." he told him but Kei didn't listen to him.
"Stop fighting please." the woman shouted but it was ignored.
Kei stand up as if nothing happened to him but Kota keep on pursuing him to just run away and don't fight those guys. He even told him that they have knife with them, he saw it a while back while checking if they have weapons. He is worried that it can hurt Kei but still he is not listening at all. "Inoo-san, if you continue you will just hurt more."
"You are underestimating me, aren't' you?" Kei whispered and he is sure that Kei is talking to him. "i don't care if they have weapons. If they can't used it properly then it's their loss." he said firmly and then he position himself like he will going to enter a battle. When he is 16 years old he enter a martial arts class to learn self defence. It is because when he is in the middle of his 16 years, he was targeted by some bully and he didn't have a chance to fight back and that gives a scar to his pride. He hates losing and so he learned until no one can defeat him anymore.
The three guys attack him but they didn't stand a chance even they have small knife and they even plan on killing him but Kei have an easy win. Kota feels relief after the 3 guys run away but that didn't stop the worry coz Kei accidentally slip and he falls down a deep hole which is 3 feet high. Kota immediately fly towards him and then he saw that Kei has a wound on his forehead and it seems like he twist his right leg and he can't stand up.
"Inoo-san are you alright?" Kota asked him worriedly.
"Why did you suddenly go away? I'm looking for you all this time." Kei asked him as he doesn't care about what happened to him.
"Y...you are looking for me? Wh...why?"
"Of course because... i am worried."
Kota's tears start to fall from his eyes without him knowing and so Kei was shocked why Kota suddenly teared up with what he just said but then that time he realizes that he is wounded on his head and he is all dirty but he can't stand up even he knows he can escape from that hole. Why is there a hole there anyway he thought to himself. "I'm sorry... This is all my fault. I'm really sorry."
"Stop crying... You are like Kou who easily cried with simple thing. You are a guy right?" Kei told him. "How about the woman? Is she alright? I can't stand up i think my right leg is twisted, call Hikaru and asked him for help."
"I..i can't leave you alone here."
"I'll be fine. Don't worry."
Because of that serious look on Kei's face Kota was able to think that Kei will be fine by himself. He flied up and then look for the woman who is asking if the guy who helps her was alright. Kei answered that he is fine, he is just wounded a little and his right leg was twisted he also told him that his friend will going to asked for help so she must not worry anymore.

"Yaotome-san, please help Inoo-san." Kota immediately told Hikaru when he saw him. Hikaru successfully bring the girl to his brother and so she was happy that he give a big thank to Hikaru and even hug him.
"Huh? What happened to Kei?" Hikaru asked him.
"H...he fall down a hole and he twisted his leg." Upon hearing that Hikaru instantly asked Kota where is direction and he flied and Hikaru followed him. They arrived at the scene and the young lady was still there and didn't leave Kei's side. When Hikaru came he immediately help Kei out of that hole and then he check his right leg. The wound on Kei's forehead is also bleeding and that makes him in panic. He never seen Kei being hurt like that and so he didn't know what to do about it at first but he need to think first.
"I'll bring you to the hospital."Hikaru told him.
"I...i am living with a doctor. You can bring him there to be check. "the woman told him. Even she is blind she can navigate around the place and they arrived at a traditional house where she immediately call for a guy named Dr. Kawaguchi. The guy immediately check Kei's condition, cured his wounds and even his twisted leg. Hikaru and Kota waited outside and they are really worried about their friend.
"What happened? How come Kei end up in that kind of situation?" Hikaru asked Kota madly. "This is the first time that he was hurt like this. If only you didn't go anywhere then he will not be injured."
"I...i'm sorry." Kota apologized.
"Do you think your sorry can help with this? You should just help him." Hikaru told him but just after that he just realize who he is talking to and that make him feel guilty.
"I like too... I wanted to help him...so much but i can't..." Kota replied back and his voice is trembling. "I'm sorry, i feel useless."
"It's not.... I'm sorry. It's not your fault." Hikaru take back his words. "I am just twisted... This is the first time i saw Kei injured like this. Mostly he is careful about himself and making sure that he will not be wounded or hurt."
The woman in yukata who already change her clothes came with a tea and biscuits with her. She offered Hikaru some and said that his friend is already fine. "You don't need to worry... The two of you." she told and that surprised Hikaru and Kota.
"I... I'm alone." Hikaru answered but the woman smiled.
"I know but i can feel another presence besides you and that makes you two. Besides i heard you talking to someone. By the way i am Shayna Nami and i am living here." she introduced herself gracefully. Hikaru can't believe that this woman is blind but her senses are strong since she can feel Kota. He introduced himself and so as Kota as well. They talk for a while and then after a few minutes Kei went out of the room where he is treated and now he is wearing a yukata since his clothes are all dirty. He is still having a hard time walking because of his twisted leg and they put band aid on his forehead and the cut on his lips.
Since Kei can't walk properly, Shayna just invited them to stay in her house while waiting for the fireworks and then after that she will asked her fiancé to drive them home ones he came back from work. Hikaru and Kei thank you the young lady for her help and she said that she is partially guilty about what happened to Kei as well because he help her that make him in that situation. Hikaru asked if he can bring his friend there to view the fireworks and she said that it's alright. Upon hearing that Hikaru excuse himself for he will meet his friend and bring them there.
When Shayna, Kei and Kota are all alone viewing the scenery outside the house, Shayna suddenly touch Kei's head and then she smiled. "You came from Borderline right?" she immediately asked and that surprised Kei.

Kei went to the mini forest but he is welcome by a shouting lady. He immediately approach and saw Kota who is watching a lady being targeted by some thieves and there are 3 of them.
"Hey,what are you doing?" Kei asked. He is not that kind of person who stick himself in a dangerous situation but this is a point of no return anymore. Kota was shocked when he saw Kei approaching, he save the lady wearing a yukata who is sitting on the ground already. He immediately noticed that the lady is blind and it is used by those robbers to get her stuffs. "How filthy, to target a woman who is blind" he blurted out.
"Wh...what are you doing here?" Kota asked but Kei is ignoring him at all.
"Whoa such a cutie showed himself but he is a guy and added to that just a small brat." the guy in the middle said and that is when Kei realizes that he is not in his 20 years old body who knows self defence. He is on his small body who is still weak and no knowledge about martial arts and fighting but he didn't care anymore as long as he have his mind he can do it even on his small body. He can hear Kota saying something but he is just ignoring him but he is glad that he is alright.
One of the guy grab his collar and then lift him up pinching his face, Kei give them a death glare and that make the guy piss off that he punch Kei on the face. The woman who heard Kei's moaned and Kota who saw what happened was shock about what just happened. Kei's lower lip was cut and it is bleeding but he just wipe it away. Kota approach him and told him that he should just run away. "Inoo-san, y...you can't handle those guys. Run away." he told him but Kei didn't listen to him.
"Stop fighting please." the woman shouted but it was ignored.
Kei stand up as if nothing happened to him but Kota keep on pursuing him to just run away and don't fight those guys. He even told him that they have knife with them, he saw it a while back while checking if they have weapons. He is worried that it can hurt Kei but still he is not listening at all. "Inoo-san, if you continue you will just hurt more."
"You are underestimating me, aren't' you?" Kei whispered and he is sure that Kei is talking to him. "i don't care if they have weapons. If they can't used it properly then it's their loss." he said firmly and then he position himself like he will going to enter a battle. When he is 16 years old he enter a martial arts class to learn self defence. It is because when he is in the middle of his 16 years, he was targeted by some bully and he didn't have a chance to fight back and that gives a scar to his pride. He hates losing and so he learned until no one can defeat him anymore.
The three guys attack him but they didn't stand a chance even they have small knife and they even plan on killing him but Kei have an easy win. Kota feels relief after the 3 guys run away but that didn't stop the worry coz Kei accidentally slip and he falls down a deep hole which is 3 feet high. Kota immediately fly towards him and then he saw that Kei has a wound on his forehead and it seems like he twist his right leg and he can't stand up.
"Inoo-san are you alright?" Kota asked him worriedly.
"Why did you suddenly go away? I'm looking for you all this time." Kei asked him as he doesn't care about what happened to him.
"Y...you are looking for me? Wh...why?"
"Of course because... i am worried."
Kota's tears start to fall from his eyes without him knowing and so Kei was shocked why Kota suddenly teared up with what he just said but then that time he realizes that he is wounded on his head and he is all dirty but he can't stand up even he knows he can escape from that hole. Why is there a hole there anyway he thought to himself. "I'm sorry... This is all my fault. I'm really sorry."
"Stop crying... You are like Kou who easily cried with simple thing. You are a guy right?" Kei told him. "How about the woman? Is she alright? I can't stand up i think my right leg is twisted, call Hikaru and asked him for help."
"I..i can't leave you alone here."
"I'll be fine. Don't worry."
Because of that serious look on Kei's face Kota was able to think that Kei will be fine by himself. He flied up and then look for the woman who is asking if the guy who helps her was alright. Kei answered that he is fine, he is just wounded a little and his right leg was twisted he also told him that his friend will going to asked for help so she must not worry anymore.

"Yaotome-san, please help Inoo-san." Kota immediately told Hikaru when he saw him. Hikaru successfully bring the girl to his brother and so she was happy that he give a big thank to Hikaru and even hug him.
"Huh? What happened to Kei?" Hikaru asked him.
"H...he fall down a hole and he twisted his leg." Upon hearing that Hikaru instantly asked Kota where is direction and he flied and Hikaru followed him. They arrived at the scene and the young lady was still there and didn't leave Kei's side. When Hikaru came he immediately help Kei out of that hole and then he check his right leg. The wound on Kei's forehead is also bleeding and that makes him in panic. He never seen Kei being hurt like that and so he didn't know what to do about it at first but he need to think first.
"I'll bring you to the hospital."Hikaru told him.
"I...i am living with a doctor. You can bring him there to be check. "the woman told him. Even she is blind she can navigate around the place and they arrived at a traditional house where she immediately call for a guy named Dr. Kawaguchi. The guy immediately check Kei's condition, cured his wounds and even his twisted leg. Hikaru and Kota waited outside and they are really worried about their friend.
"What happened? How come Kei end up in that kind of situation?" Hikaru asked Kota madly. "This is the first time that he was hurt like this. If only you didn't go anywhere then he will not be injured."
"I...i'm sorry." Kota apologized.
"Do you think your sorry can help with this? You should just help him." Hikaru told him but just after that he just realize who he is talking to and that make him feel guilty.
"I like too... I wanted to help him...so much but i can't..." Kota replied back and his voice is trembling. "I'm sorry, i feel useless."
"It's not.... I'm sorry. It's not your fault." Hikaru take back his words. "I am just twisted... This is the first time i saw Kei injured like this. Mostly he is careful about himself and making sure that he will not be wounded or hurt."
The woman in yukata who already change her clothes came with a tea and biscuits with her. She offered Hikaru some and said that his friend is already fine. "You don't need to worry... The two of you." she told and that surprised Hikaru and Kota.
"I... I'm alone." Hikaru answered but the woman smiled.
"I know but i can feel another presence besides you and that makes you two. Besides i heard you talking to someone. By the way i am Shayna Nami and i am living here." she introduced herself gracefully. Hikaru can't believe that this woman is blind but her senses are strong since she can feel Kota. He introduced himself and so as Kota as well. They talk for a while and then after a few minutes Kei went out of the room where he is treated and now he is wearing a yukata since his clothes are all dirty. He is still having a hard time walking because of his twisted leg and they put band aid on his forehead and the cut on his lips.
Since Kei can't walk properly, Shayna just invited them to stay in her house while waiting for the fireworks and then after that she will asked her fiancé to drive them home ones he came back from work. Hikaru and Kei thank you the young lady for her help and she said that she is partially guilty about what happened to Kei as well because he help her that make him in that situation. Hikaru asked if he can bring his friend there to view the fireworks and she said that it's alright. Upon hearing that Hikaru excuse himself for he will meet his friend and bring them there.
When Shayna, Kei and Kota are all alone viewing the scenery outside the house, Shayna suddenly touch Kei's head and then she smiled. "You came from Borderline right?" she immediately asked and that surprised Kei.
