Oh, god, I love Porthos so much. I need more of him, too. And while I haven't adored the new season yet overall, I am forgiving a LOT for the gorgeous Anne/Constance that keeps happening on my screen. It was near the top of my wants for this show, and I'm basking in it.

I have to admit to liking Marc Warren, probably because I saw him first on Highlander and second on Hustle, in which he was half of my slash pairing/one third of my OT3, and was mostly charming.

I just finished catching up on Sleepy Hollow, and am rather "bzuh?" about this season overall, but it keeps me coming back for more.

Porthos is so fantastically good - like, I really believe he has the brute strength to get away with some of the stuff he does, plus there's the humor, the loyalty, and that smile. I was convinced that the sister they rescued in 2x01 would end up in his arms, and was absolutely dumbsquizzled when she kissed D'Artagnan instead. Also, I never once considered Anne/Constance, but now that you mention it . . . (I cannot believe Anne has let Aramis get away with skulking around her son's chamber and asking totally obvious questions. Lock that down, Anne!) Plus, Anne/Constance would be a nice inverse to the Aramis/Porthos dynamic - they clearly have helped each other out plenty of times before, when Athos was off plumbing the depths of his epic manpain and D'Artagnan was just a wee lad out in the country.

I've only seen Marc Warren in bad/dumb guy roles, so I've never enjoyed having him on my screen, but I'll take your word for it that he can be charming.

Sleepy Hollow's descent in quality has been dizzying, which is dismaying, ( ... )

I watched the first four or so episodes of this season of Sleepy Hollow and have sort of drifted away and not found myself interested in catching up again right now - and it's so sad, because the show was such a wacky joy for me last year.

I should really check out Go On sometime...

Yeah, it really hasn't been good this year, which is such a bummer after it stormed our hearts last year with insanity like "GEORGE WASHINGTON'S BIBLE!"

If you do get in the Go On mood, let me know, as I can help you out.

I'm waiting with increasing impatience for the third season of Vikings. I have given up Supernatural as a lost cause, and I have since the 7th season. I am sort of waiting to see what Better Call Saul will be. There will be no more Selfie, for which I am mourning. Constantine just couldn't make it either.

I gave up on Supernatural in the sixth season, but I've been hearing enough good things about it that I might, when it's all finally over, go back and do a rewatch from the beginning. I never started Vikings, which seemed like a big hit with a subset of my flist, so I might try that too, most likely after I finally watch Breaking Bad (!). As for Better Call Saul, I'm just amused that Bob Odenkirk, whom I had a crush on from his shenanigans on The Ben Stiller Show is now a household name! What did you think of the last series of Sherlock - are you planning to watch the special and series 4?

SELFIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only watched the first two episodes of the third season of Sherlock. I didn't hear great things about the final episode. I will definitely watch the special. And perhaps season four.

I was not a fan of the third series - it turns out that the writers didn't show the cast the third script until after the first two were shot, and that made a tremendous difference, given the revelations about various characters. Still, if you've watched everything else and plan to watch the future ones, I'd say give 3x03 a shot.

Aw, thank you! I wanted to include her in my last fic but couldn't, so in this one she's Henry's BFF and the primary matchmaker for him and Eliza. I love her.
