I particularly like the hair. I think her eyes are bit too big, but the shading works very nicely.

I think you did an amazing job extrapolating from the simple sketch.

I love the hair; it's not too bushy or frizzy.

I'm not sure if it's her eyes are too big or just that the whites are too white. They make her eyes stand out so much that they do appear a bit big.

The dimples around her mouth and nose seem a bit too dark to me, making them look too deep to me.

But the hair is awesome; I love how it falls around her face from a high forehead and falls over her shoulders.

This is actually the first time I've been successful in getting hair to look like hair instead of...some kind of pudding mask. lol. It wasn't as hard as I'd thought it was going to be either. Just takes patience (which probably explains why I didn't manage it before)

No offense, but I have no idea what you're talking about.
There aren't really any baby steps in this pic....perhaps you could expand a little on what you're trying to say?

I suppose I was confused. I thought you said this was your first time coloring the piece and I thought you had done an excellent job. I wasn't meaning to offend--just congratulating you on a job well done.

No problem. I'm just working on my coloring, and it is the first time I colored this piece, but then, I don't usually color things over again, so I usually only color each piece once. lol.

I think we just confused each other. But, I appreciate your comments, and your time. :)
