I dunno, I have a permanent account, many paids and I use Firefox, with Stylish to remove LJ ads, so I can't see them anyway.

I find it laughable that people are frothing at the mouth about this. It's like, do you read magazines or newspapers, or have cable/satellite? Those are heavily ad-supported too, but you don't hear people complaining about having to pay for them.
