I totally played myself OOC last night. I would not mosey on up to a man, call him "hot stuff" and ask him to take me to his place even if he looked like Timothy Dalton. Chances are I'd go "!!! Ask the NHM/Science Museum about volunteering opportunities. The NHM have dedicated learning volunteers, and I expect the science museum offer something similar. It'll also get you known around the right departments and people, and give you experience, training and support you need.
