As it turned out, I didn't get the job at the Science Museum. I really really wanted this job as a career thing, but I'm not as crushed as I maybe could be. Probably because it's difficult to be crushed when you're at Chez Tortue with Bing and Joe and Gen. *hugs*

I totally played myself OOC last night. I would not mosey on up to a man, call him "hot stuff" and ask him to take me to his place even if he looked like Timothy Dalton. Chances are I'd go "!!! IT'S YOU" and be incommudicado for a good deal of time*. ANYWAY. I was greatly amused by our Bond-you thread.

* No, actually on second thought I wouldn't say anything, would keep my distance and admire from that distance. Because I just don't approach cute guys. I don't do flirting. I can't do it, and I don't like it when people flirt with me. I'm just terribly shy and also afraid of making assumptions and a fool out of myself.

Aw, bless you *hugs*

I really do just demand people get me drinks then talk hot women with them. It's fun!

Haa, this makes me very curious in the event you go to Millicon and we are in a situation that involves the acquisition of drinks. ;)

Bing may be coming to the UK soonish. I'd like dinner or lunch for five somewhere?

I need experience with kids - any kids.

Ask the NHM/Science Museum about volunteering opportunities. The NHM have dedicated learning volunteers, and I expect the science museum offer something similar. It'll also get you known around the right departments and people, and give you experience, training and support you need.
