sms_to_lj? has for many years provided a vaguely buggy way for Britons to update LJ through the medium of text message. I haven't felt the need to use it since the last time it stopped working for me, but I kept the community friended just in case I felt the need again.

Yesterday the maintainer posted this, the original text of which read:

So, I'm confused. Not that this is unusual in and of itself....

Let me see if I understand this. Yon community maintainer/dim light-bulb is dead-set against the heavy-handed methods of various trade unions, so in a heavy-handed response (no! it's not ironic! it's the internet!), has decided to ban trade union members from the community, apparently with his massive psychic powers and such.

Amirite?
