FIRST CHARACTER WITH ANY POP CULTURE KNOWLEDGE, HOOO!

Alright, so! Ned is a teenage boy. He likes TV, movies, and video games! He probably won't recognize many (if any) anime characters, unless they've been dubbed and put on Cartoon Network. l-lulz. BUT COMMENT HERE ANYWAY, because this post has two purposes!

1. Can Ned recognize your character?

I play Wilhelm and Canaan - both are videogame characters whom Ned is welcome to recognize. They're both from the Xenosaga series; Wilhelm is the main antagonist, and Canaan is an ally to the heros / temporary playable character / fangirlbait / traitor. Bringing up that Canaan is fictional would open up a whole can of worms I'm not quite ready to deal with, but Wilhelm would be fine with it. Where "fine" equates to "he will mentally unhear it the second it is said because anything that does not fit in his own view of things DOES NOT EXIST, WILL NOT HAPPEN, AND NEVER HAS HAPPENED." :Dd

I don't think Ned'll recognize either of them, so you're good!

1) Larxene is probably his best bet for recognition. lololol KH popularity.

2) ...she's also bitched people out for wanton fourth wall breakage before! But you'll probably want to save her for an EMERGENCY MEASURE since Ned's a little boy and um yeah.

Ned will think she looks VAGUELY FAMILIAR and eventually have a brain blast in which he realizes "...o-oh. Yeah I'll stay away from her |D;;"

All mine (Buffy Chase Hiro Peter Anya Kagura Lex god) are fine for recognition, although I imagine it won't apply to most of them! Buffy is used to the fictional thing and it doesn't phase her. Peter and Lex are more complicated! Spider-Man is fine for whatever you throw at him, EXCEPT please don't do the whole secret identity reveal. Peter will ACT very confused if you act like you recognize him, but I assume unless he actually says "lol I'm Peter Parker" he's not as recognizable. LEX is um I haven't done the fictional thing yet and I don't know about that, but spoilers about him and Clark starting to hate each other and being mortal enemies are a no-go place. Until I get a better feel for how he'll be you should probably just check stuff for Lex with me :/b

I think Ned'll recognize Buffy and Hiro, and make the connection between Peter Parker and Spider-man. Your other characters are safe. |D

AS FOR BLOO you can recognize him! He'll think you saw him on TV uhuhuhuhuh I am the bestest imaginary friend in the world. As for whether you can tell him straight in the face that he's fictional... you should ask Mac about this, because I think I'm okay with it, but she might not be. In Bloo's case he'd just not believe you, and if you manage to convince him he might be so damn gleeful in the "I'M ON TV UHUHUHUHUH" way, which is fine on my side~

Dude the Fairly Odd Parents actually showed up in one episode and Ned doodles pictures of Timmy and the Crimson Chin. This might just be because the guy who plays Gordy does Cosmo's voice but I SAY NED TOTALLY WATCHES NICK OKAY. He might recognize Toph. I haven't really thought it out yet but BLOO IS A YES. Ned secretly loves Fosters okay.

Oh, wait. Fictional... Um, yeah. Mac will think it's one of those trippy things where imaginary friends are like imaginary in other worlds, and this is some weird thing he's not gonna think about. I AM SO AWAKE, CAN YOU TELL? |D

Of my characters, I think he'd recognize Usagi (Sailor Moon?!) and Mac. I am all cool for him making :DDD faces at them and being a little fanboy.

Also, I am up for distracting with cookies or beatings AKA Usagi and Fujisaki. o/~

He won't remember her name but Ned will recognize Usagi, yes! And Ned will want to hang out with Mac all the time okay. Fosters is his guilty pleasure show.
