I did manage to finish this last night and I suppose that means it's time to post it. ::flails:: I haven't posted fic in a month! What if I do it wrong?
Anyway. ::end flail::

I was originally going to rotate the POV through it, but Ronon insisted he wanted to do the talking, and I think that ended up working pretty well. Oh, Ronon.
Ooh, I love that colonial-governor take. ::ponders on that for a while::

And SAM, dude...it's ultimately apocalyptific AS WELL as being in Ronon POV AND AND OMG being this lyrical-symbolic-maybekinda John/Elizabeth/Ronon. I just...no words.
There are so many beautiful lines and moments in this I'd just be quoting them all back at you. This is fantastic. Simple and aching, with the start-stop of John and Elizabeth being reminded of who they were and who they are now, and Ronon just...being. It's very much about him, in most ways, and all the references and tie-ins to his Running days were inspired and spot on.
I just--I love this!

Thank you for the rec in your LJ, too, by the way! It made me blush and flail and, er, remember to reply to comments. :)

Right there with you on that.
You're very welcome for the rec. I was so blown away by this that I had to share the love. And, really, I am the LAST person anyone should feel bad about not returning comments, too. I'm like a comment BLACK HOLE anymore. :)
