*ded*

Hilarious and much needed. I swear it was a terrible way to kill off ANYONE, but I'll have to watch the ep again with all of these in mind and just giggle my entire way through it.

You know, I was enjoying this immensely (Because, yes, "Sunday" simply didn't happen the way the writers said it did.) until I got to this part:

No television-mounted penguins nor Mrs. Niggerbaiter were involved in the advertorial carnage. News at 11.

Offensive much?

Huh?

Monty Python much?

I am guessing that you are not aware just how offensive the word "nigger" is. (Let alone what "niggerbaiter" could potentially imply.) "Monthy Python" or not (which is in bad taste, sometimes), it's still not something that I expected to read while perusing a fic. That's all.

*Rolls eyes*

1) She didn't use the word "nigger" nor the term "niggerbaiter" (lower case), she made reference to a character whose name is Mrs. Niggerbaiter.

2) Said aforementioned character exploded which is completely relevant to the idiocy which was Sunday.

3) If you wish to complain about the character name or be offended, take it up with Monty Python, not Inky.

*much hugs* This is a nice little blurb. Makes me able to smile just a little bit at the horror that is this episode. *sighs in defeat*

*hugs back* I'm glad you enjoyed the best-parts version. Our family has real-time running episode commentary down to a fairly fine art, much to the annoyance of visitors, lol. ;-)

*immediately considers this a flight of fancy after the opening line, then gets to Liz's bit and does a double take as she reconsiders the geek who hit on Liz* Holy shite, no way! I mean, I thought he looked familiar, but I've never seen NW with a beard and, y'know, hair and...no way. *stares in shock* No way. Though that does explain why he looked familiar. Then again, Canadian actors are like redshirts.

In any case, loved this. Funny as hell. And, yeah, Carson SO should'a Ascended. Pity they sent a BODY back to Earth.

Well, it wasn't really NW but it kinda-sorta-looked like him enough to make the suggestion. :-)

And as for looking familiar -- yes, I've heard all us Canadians pretty much look alike to foreigners. *evil grin*

I'm glad you liked the story! :-)

The body going back to Earth is no biggie, really (other than the insane waste of energy). Between being able to come back on his own ("descend?") and having lots of tissue for cloning on Earth, it's all good. At least, in my sheltered little SGA world. ;-)
