I think the rain is having a terminal effect on my plants. The tomatoes need sunlight immediately before they rot off the vine and the violas and pansies are now coated in a white fungal type stuff which suggests rot. Bless the lettuce for struggling through the quagmire and soldiering on

Tomatoes don't like rain (being wet). Since I moved house two weeks ago, my tomato plant has been wet all the time (the weather has been alternating between deluge and flood), and doesn't take it kindly... Before, it stood protected in a loggia and grew like mad.
