Creepy! But so good! I like that you wrote Gackt's thoughts in a more mature way, as to why he resorted to suicide. Its not at all sappy, you make it understandable. Its both selfish and selfless; i love it. =)

It actually makes a lot of sense. There is nothing worse than a twodimensional character, I believe.

totally believable. except, i believe Gackt will fail in the end. but that only makes his reasoning and desire for power over the one he claims to love even more tragic. (every thing is a damn competition with that man) he might have gotten what he wanted if he hadn't shared his reasoning for taking his life with his intended victim, Hyde. rather than pulling Hyde after him in a fierce moment of remorse, i would think Gackt's not quite lover would stumble back with a mixed feeling of revulsion, sorrow and pity.

In my imagionation, there is no way Hyde followed him. The tragic thing in this piece is that Hyde doesn't reciprocate Gackt's feelings. To Hyde, they are good friends who enjoy to snog, but nothing more. Since Gackt can't accept just that, it all goes downhill. And Hyde will be crushed to see the result of it - but not so much that he'll follow.

ah, so i was pretty much on the mark with my thoughts. i seem to remember Hyde saying once in an interview on Kagen no Tsuki i think, that he did not see killing oneself because of the death of a loved one as being something he would ever do. meaning, he would not have ever done as Adam did. likewise, i do not think it would be in his fictional character's make-up to do so, regardless of how the lover died. no suicide pacts for our laddie.

i can't help but pull for Hyde and Megumi over any and all other relationships. besides, Gackt is just too freaking weird. XD

this was really good in that dark way you have which i truly love to pieces. <3

Ah, good to know that he even said something like that himself. It was what I always imagined him to think like, but in the end, for most things like that it's just speculation. Glad I hit the mark with this ^^

And yes, in the end, Meguhai wins over all pairings (just like Hyde/Maiku and Hyde/Camera) just for being two things - canon and absolutely adorable. Which is why I make sure that IF I include Megumi, everyone can see that she'll always be most important to Hyde. And if I really want to focus on another pairing, I usually don't mention her, because I hate making up reasons for them to be seperated or for Hyde cheating or stuff like that. I don't like going there.

The image of Hyde pushing Gackt away and the one where Hyde's reading the letter breaks my heart into many little pieces. And the fact that Gackt wants Hyde so much that he can't live without 'im. *sobs*

well, it's a little darker than just "can't live without him". It's not supposed to be a truly romantic move on his part. He is obsessed, dangerously so, and he only takes his own life because his twisted mind believes Hyde will follow. It's all very dark. But I'm glad you liked. Thank you for commenting.
