Basically, I'm going to have to find some sort of vocation that combines poet, teacher, scholar, Faerie, essayist, "pastor", counselor, utopianist, and adolescent dumbass-clown.

Ask Harry Dean is he has a VP candidate yet... [I resume my libertarian, yet conservative, grumbling.]

You're a LIBERTARIAN?! But why? And politics is just not dirty enough for me; I need a downright FILTHY vocation.

Why am I a libertarian?

Because, in my constitutionally-guaranteed opinion, America is neither the republican ideal of a granite-toothed, spirit-dissolving, to-the-spoiled-go-the-victuals, uber-competitive video game of collective greed, nor the democratic ideal of a teary-eyed, watered-scotch, kumbaya-singing, tousled-hair, everyone's-a-victim, socialist circle jerk.

I don't actually believe that. I just wanted to say something provocative. Suffice it to say that neither party is a good fit for me. I tend to vote democratic on local issues and republican on national issues. No, I did not vote for Bush.

Well, thank you fella! I am a consummate wallower in that I'll analyze an abstract personal/philosophical problem until it's mere dirt for useless sifting. Now, I know I said "vocation" but do you have any JOBS for a person with leanings such as these?

I don't know where this will lead you but I do want to live in a world where this can happen. I guess that I am stressing the utopian.
