My dad really loves those Teaching Company tapes--he probably has 30 sets of them. So you've definitely not squandered your money. :)

Good to know. I was a little leery of ordering so much as once, but I figured I was getting such a huge discount/sales price that it couldn't be a truly terrible thing - even if they weren't as good as I expected, I'd still learn some cool stuff - and if they *were* as good as I expected and I only ordered one course at sale price, I'd be kicking myself if prices went up later. So it's nice to have a solid recommendation backing my $260-something purchase.

They arrived today (!) so I'll be diving in sometime tonight. Whee!
