Been editing the chapter. Got it down from 15,000 words to 9,000. Need to knock out about 2,000 more. Embarrassingly, I discovered that the first 3,000 of them led to a distinct improvement. I rocked out yesterday! The presentation really was pretty bad when I rehearsed it the previous night, but all it needed was a little cutting and rearranging to make it come together beautifully.
