I believe it exists.
I believe polygamy exists also - I'm not that surrealistic - both those are fairly obvious answers since they're well-documented.

Monogamy is a product of society, therefore acceptance of it depends on the society you're in. I guess I do 'believe' in it in the sense that I wouldn't be very happy to learn my better half had been up to something with someone else, but I don't think it's necessarily morally right in every context yada yada...
