Eee, TRON! I've been meaning to get into the fandom, and those comms seem like an awesome place to start. (I hit this vid recently and, after I stopped flailing, went "wait, why am I not in this fandom?")

That Cat in the Hat art is amazing. ♥

Eeee, someone else who's interested! ^_____^ I was afraid I'd been driving people off with my one-note Tronspam recently.~ They'll be awesomer when people start posting there; tron_genfic is the most active right now. *pokes unfinished fic pile, argh* And yeah, her vids make me flail with INTENSE GLEE every time. I still have to comment on the recent ones. They're so good.

The attention to detail tickles me on that. The apples! The Pandorica! Rory's face!<3

NEW UNEXPLAINED PARTICLE. :DDDD

If I was a bit better at math-outside-the-box (I'm not, at all), I would so utterly be going into astronomy after all. The epic, EPIC thing about being in astronomy/physics/quantum-related fields right now is that when it comes to the universe, EVERYTHING WE KNOW IS WRONG. (Well, almost everything.) There are all these new particles and contradictory theories and everything popping up, and DANGIT I WANT IN ON THAT. But my brain is way better at geology. *sadface*

(I mean really... did I already mention that, IIRC, quantum theory and relativity contradict each other on some level? Or something like that. Also the universe is not only expanding - the rate at which it expands is GETTING FASTER. Which should be impossible. EEEEEEE!!! So much to be discovered! It's like being a geographer in the 16th century.)

..OH GOSH I KNOW.<33333 That is the same reason I'm not in particle physics right now. I wanted it so much, but my math grade disagreed. So I kind of hang around the outskirts and squee a lot.

..it'ssoawesome. ^___^ I need some good new books to bone up on it -- my most recent reading was Physics of the Impossible, which is a couple of years old (practically ~forever~ in quantum).

Wish I could, but all my reading on it is half a decade old so I need some new material too!~
