Aw, darnit. According to the cover for Usagi Yojimbo Vol.108, Inazuma's hakama is blue, not white. And I'm not dyeing mine. And hakamas are expensive. There goes another costume idea

Will comment on this more later, but apparently Dorothy IS Ace. Dodo was Dorothea and the initials are kind of the dead giveaway. Ditto the "Somebody or other" w/r/t Dorothy's last name as it's sort of a joke that her surname changed at least once in canon. Dodo was always Chapman.
I never really bought the Ace was going to the Time Lord Academy to become a Time Lord or whatever other stupidity came up in the post-7 years novels. So I guess she's doing good works that way. Maybe they all involve blowing things up? :)
Are 'Dorothy' and 'Dorothea' pronounced differently? Unless they are, I'd rather consider it open canon. XD
I never bought the Time Lord Academy thing either, but would have thought IF she'd returned to Earth, she'd have been leading child rescue operations in third-world countries, and wouldn't have thought she'd returned long enough ago to want to settle down now. But maybe! ^^
Katy Manning has lovely expressions (and really huge eyes).
Jo and Sarah-Jane get really touchy-feely in these eps. If RTD hadn't decided that Jo should still be happily married, I'd think he were shipping them.
As for Sarah-Jane forgetting the time she met Five, Ten seemed to have forgotten that as well, since he mentioned he'd regenerated 'half a dozen times' since they last met in School Reunion.
..I'm always one to go "oi, physical contact doesn't have to mean that / platonic hugs are just as epic" (gave those phrases a real workout during Ten's era, lemme tellya), but hey, shippers will ship~! *shrugs and happily occupies the gen corner of fandom* ^^
Hn, well, Ten forgot a lot of things that he should have remembered, imho.~
Was she always this contemptuous toward UNIT's military objectives in SJA? Or back in the day, for that matter?
Not back in the old series, but I think the implication throughout New Who is that UNIT has gone downhill since the Brig retired; it's gotten more ... militaristic, for lack of a better word, and less trustworthy. RTD is laying it on a bit too thick here, though.
That's too bad. *sigh* I remember UNIT as an organization one knew would at least try to do the right thing as they understood it... of course in RTD's world good intentions are no excuse and often inherently suspicious. I still haven't forgiven him for Harriet Jones.
