.....IT NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME HOW MUCH YOU CAN WRITE. ALSDFJAKLSFD

As for your question, uhhhhh. I'm biased in that I will read anything you write no matter the length (and length is usually the determining factor for me) so...I'd say keep going. XD

LOL IT'S A CURSE. I'm all confident and shit that I'll have it done in a day, and then it just keeps going and before I know it's four in the morning and I'm pissed as hell because I'm tired and WHY WON'T IT END AAAAAAAAAGGHHHH.

But. If you say go for it, then I'll go for it. :D I guess, if anything, anyone reading it can take a break midway to spare their eyes. |D

I KIND OF WISH I HAD THAT PROBLEM, NOT GONNA LIE. Though I'm sure I'd find it annoying if I did have it. LOSE/LOSE (except not really I still envy you)

Exaaaaaaaaactly. Plus, doesn't LJ have character limits? If it gets too long, you'll have to break it into sections, anyhow. IT'S ALL GOOD.

I usually write to about 8-10 pages but then I get all ADD and just wanna post the damn thing already. Some of my biggest fics probably aren't much more then 100 pages. But I think my chapters are short- and while 30 pages sounds like a lot, I think it depends on how long the other chapters are. It should probably flow around that.

Ahaha, I can totally relate on the ADD thing, which is why this is frustrating me so much. I just want to post the damn thing but it just keeps GROWING.

But yeah, the previous chapter was 29 pages, so I'm trying to keep in range with five pages or so difference. Still, 35 pages, ugh.

If you really want to break it up (or think you should), maybe break it up into more than two pieces? Are there any good places that shift scenes? Or where time passes? You could use those as places to break between parts.

I really don't want to break it up. ): Main reason being that nothing really exciting happens until the end as most of the chapter is just plot development and we know how exciting that is.

It's like, here's 20 pages of some dialogue and seemingly random events that hopefully lead up to something interesting--and then the chapter is over. ARGH. I suppose in the long run it would just be better to keep it as is, otherwise I'd just fret over it.

Then I say keep it in once piece then. <3 If there isn't a place to break it up, then don't force it.

Lord knows the project I've got going is writing itself somehow. I still don't know how a one shot turned into a multi-chapter project. O_o

I think I should do that. ♥

Oh my God SAME HERE. This stupid fic I'm currently writing was supposed to be a one-shot too, but yeah, needless to say, it's completely out of control now.

On the positive side, take comfort in knowing you're imaginative! Not many people are cursed gifted with our ability to write endlessly. :D

I tend to write in font Arial size 10 single-spaced, with all of chapters ending around five pages (roughly 5k words). I don't really measure chapters by page length as I do word count, so 5 pages, to me, is normal. The longer the chapter, the better I say.
