yup. it's true. I mentioned that my dad wants to get one to play Grand Theft Auto IV. he was planning on buying a used one, which I kind of encouraged, but I've decided that I would like to take advantage of his wanting to play GTA IV to acquire one for myself. aside from that, the newer models use less electricity, have better thermal dissipation
