So, I guess I'll be getting an Xbox 360 in about a month

yup. it's true. I mentioned that my dad wants to get one to play Grand Theft Auto IV. he was planning on buying a used one, which I kind of encouraged, but I've decided that I would like to take advantage of his wanting to play GTA IV to acquire one for myself. aside from that, the newer models use less electricity, have better thermal dissipation, run quieter, and are less prone to malfunctions. So, we're going to split the price of an Xbox 360 Elite; it's about 75/25, with me putting in $350 for part of the console, and my dad putting in $160 (100 for the rest of the console, 60 for the game). I get 1 month free Gold subscription to Xbox Live, too, so I'll probably make the most of that time, and save up the 50 dollars to buy a year long subscription. lol. aside from GTA, I'm getting 3 other games with it: Crackdown, Halo 3, and Call Of Duty 4. I saw all of them on Ebay for about half price, so I'm gonna get them off there. In another odd way, this will let me stay in touch with Sean and Andrew and Joey and all of them once we all fan out from Vacaville.
Then, when the Xbox 360 is basically useless as a console, I can turn it into a media center PC by formatting the drive and putting a version of Linux on it. As for getting a Wii, it's been effectively put on hold. the only reason I'm waiting a month to get the 360 is so I can: get the buyback money, and wait for Intersession English to finish.

Speaking of fanning out/transferring, I checked out my current ability to do said action, and right now, as long as I don't fail any classes, I'm good to go. But I still have to take English, and at least one other class over the summer. also concerning that, I got a Graphing Calculator from Ebay: the TI-Nspire CAS (Computational Algebraic System). it's the one I need.. on Monday, I'm going to go see the counselour and ask her about Math placement, cause I need to be in Pre-Calculus. if not, then I should just take the assessment test again and hope I get a good score (with the aid of the calculator!).

in school, nothing really noteworthy is going on, except that Finals are coming up in a week, and I'm not looking forward to it. Buyback is this week, I need to know the 12 Cranial Nerves and a bunch of other things for the coming tests, and that's all I can remember now
