Someone explain why anyone would make a movie called: Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter?  And more importantly what prompted me to watch it.

Because it's awesome, of course.

I've seen that one. It was fun, with - if I recall correctly - ridiculously unconvincing gore and outrageously goofy plotting. Dunno about you, but that's exactly what I wanted it to be.

If you think that's bad, you should see Oversexed Rugsuckers from Mars - and if that sounds appealing, I am pretty sure we can make that happen for you.

You don't see the appeal of Jesus as vampire hunter? Jesus was a pacifist knob, but there's a 13-year window in his life that could have been occupied by something exciting. It's only natural in this geek-infested world that someone would do exactly that, and film it.
