I've had this bass line in my head for about two weeks now, so I finally sat down in GarageBand and wrote it out. After that I penned a pretty fun drum beat to go with it. Then I couldn't stop, so I wandered through GB's built-in loops and threw down some on top. Check it out:

It's official: I've lost several CDs that I really liked. Poof. Gone. I know I owned each one of them because they're all in iTunes. I remember playing them on my car stereo. I've discovered the big problem with Civilization 3: It takes way too long to win the game. A normal RTS game can be finished in one sitting (perhaps a long sitting), but a single game of Civ 3 takes around 40-50 hours or more.
