I was desperately hoping he'd decide to take him on as a new companion, even for a little while. Then he had to go have a freakin' kid.

But, but, I worked it out! I did I did! *preen* I think it was the little 'Companion does what the Doctor says' thing that convinced me, too, while Husband was still going "....what is UP with this crazy incarnate!?!" ...though I think secretly he just thinks the idea of a Doctor gone completely bonkers is a whole lot of fun.

I think the Cybermonkeys/dogs/bears/wtf's deserved a bit more explanation. They were cute! And had some serious Princess Mononoke vibes going on I swear.

ANYWAY.

Broken heart Doctor. AUISHDgkjadfgjklsjdfg. Just. Just.

HE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN ALL OF THEM. INCLUDING THE KID. How cute was the Doctor-meets-child-in-middle-of-danger moment? VERY VERY CUTE, I tell you.

Oh, well done for Working It Out. I am notoriously bad at working *anything* out, so...

Broken heart Doctor. Earthlings thanking the Doctor! The Doctor stayed to dinner! BE STILL MY HEART.

I WAS SITTING THERE. At the end, when he was inviting him to dinner. Saying; "Oh GO ON, Doctor! GO ON." And then intermittently whimpering when he did what OF COURSE HE WOULD DO AND NOT GO but then he did and my heart did a little dance and I thought WHY AREN'T I GOING TO THAT DINNER TOO HEY.

I am still feeling Very Proud, because I'm usually utterly hopeless at the Working Things Out game, too. XD

The child-meeting-moment. AUGH. I am not a huge advocate of the cuteness-of-anything-involving-children but. But. I knoooow!

Siiiiiigh. Come to the zoo, Doctor. I'm sure we have plenty of time-and-space mysteries for you to solve, here.

MEEE TOO. ALL ALONE, because I am parted from K, and how am I to survive scary episodes without her to hide behind, I ask you?

I'm not a huge advocate of the Children are Cute, Ipso Facto sort of principle, but the Doctor's interactions with kids are FABULOUS. I think it's because he doesn't talk down to them: all humans are, by his standards, extremely young, so what's a few years, give or take? He seems to regard Young Human with a mix of fascination and glee. IT IS ADORABLE.

Imaginary Doctor was adorable and Rosita was so-freaking-cool. I like this companion not blindly following the Doctor thing, it's much more interesting. And this is the second time we've had Actual Doctor being all cute and happy over meeting himself, which I will NEVER GET SICK OF. I will miss the Tennant pepp.

Ohhh, so that's what those things were. I missed some of the beggining and was rather confused about why there were crawling cybermen.

Him destroying a human isn't really so surprising really. It's often an issue when he's between companions. And he did offer her a chance, which was the important thing, I suppose.

The heart breaking was beautiful. And the fact that he was talking about so many people over such a long time, just, just. And how he smiled and rang the little bell when they cheered for him, and, yes. I flailed too. sjdlakfajikIT'S JUST SO NICE AND SAD and meep.

And it shoulda been evident that Imaginary Doctor was not A Doctor by the way he treated her, yes?

I watched it before Christmas and have thus forgotten how Imaginary treated Rosita.

'The doctor's companion does what the doctor tells her!"

Yes, that was quite a big give away.

Me and Dad decided something was definitely amiss long before the memory-loss thing was mentioned. Imaginary Doctor didn't know what Cybermen were. If he were an actual Doctor, this would place him pre-Hartnell, so why on earth didn't Ten remember any of this?

We're not on post-RTD yet, are we? Thought he was handing the reins to the Moff next year.

HUH.

Wait, that special SAID, at the beginning, 'Stephen Moffat'. I recall this vr. clearly, because I thought 'oh shit, Stephen Moffat does scary episodes, and I have no one to hide behind, woes'.
