Poor Michael... forced to attend only THE biggest dance in years, only to end up playing Exploding Snap. Makes one wonder how he and Ginny managed to last as long as they did.

I liked the "trio" feel to this... the three Ravenclaw boys are an interesting counterpoint to the Grffindor trio, with their own teenaged dynamic.

Very fun!

I second snarkywench_64's comment about the Ravenclaw boys trio dynamic--it's a very interesting look at the dynamics of the other Houses, especially since we hear almost NOTHING about your average run-of-the-mill Ravenclaw.

Hee, they're such boys! Yet you give each of them a distinct characterization in such a brief sketch, and a fun dynamic together. And I grinned at the sly humour in this. Your Michael is very cool and I love that he had the foresight to bring along his pack of cards to the dance. *g*
