My Friends Of has increased in recent weeks so I thought it might be nice to post something general about some of my favorite pairings to read/write so people might get an idea of what they might find here. Also, I'm bored and lists are love! I'm even including a general overview of some of my quirks when it comes to reading/writing, a couple of which make me look really silly. *sheepish*

My Reading/Writing Quirks
There have been exceptions to these, of course, but not many
* I can't write/read Charlie with anyone but Hermione/Hermione-threesomes (that includes a brief mention in other pairing fics). Charlie's clever but not necessarily book smart, he's open/honest, and has a care taking nature.
* I can't write/read Fred with anyone but Hermione/Hermione-threesomes (that includes a brief mention in other pairing fics)
* I can't write/read Viktor with anyone but Hermione (that includes a brief mention in other pairing fics)
* I can't read/write Fred/George/Non-Hermione threesomes. (that includes a brief mention in other pairing fics)
* My Viktor doesn't like threesomes and only wants Hermione no matter how much I try to tempt him. He's intelligent, has an accent, and isn't someone who sleeps with groupies randomly.
* I don't usually write/read non-Hermione-centric het or femme. Exceptions are the occasional Narcissa-centric or rare Pansy or Luna-centric
* I can't write Snape worth a darn. I enjoy the character but just can't get inside his head 99% of the time
* Rape and adultery are two of the only squicks that I can't write/read.
* I hate unhappy endings and character death. I've got a fondness for romance and relationships. I enjoy smut but mostly when the emphasis on emotions and feelings versus just random body parts. If I can't feel the connection, I can't write it/read it. Some pairings, I enjoy reading but can't write as my muse can't feel them.
* I love me some rare pairs and interesting dynamics. As a reader, I'm open to most pairings (save for those that hit one of my major quirks) and can believe anything if the author makes it seem plausible. As a writer, I like to explore "what if"'s and pairings that don't seem to make sense on the surface but, in certain circumstances, make you go "Oooh! I could see it!" and relationships that people have, whether it be romantic or just friends. I'm also a hopeless romantic and enjoy exploring romantic relationships and such so that's why there is far more shippy stuff here and very little Gen
* Basically, when it comes to reading/writing, it generally is safe to say that I like to read/write Hermione-centric het and femme or mostly rare pair slash (with a preference for Draco, Bill, Lucius, Neville, Blaise, Ron, and Harry slash) and that's generally what you'll find around here in terms of fics and recs.
* Kinks: I love emotion and romance. I want to believe that the sex is there for a reason, whatever the kink. Random smut and OOC is a huge turn off. As for specific kinks, I always enjoy: teasing, awkward but playful sex, first times (together or ever), wallsex, frantic still clothed sex, frottage, wanking, voyeurism, dirty talk (when character appropriate), toys, seduction, fantasy fulfillment, role playing, pregnancy sex, nearly getting caught, public places, sex in a lift, mirrors used with sex, double penetration for het/slash threesomes, sex magic (but not in a dub-con sense), anal (when done well), girl on top, biting/rough when character appropriate, UST like whoa, exhibitionism (when character appropriate), and a guilty pleasure is Hermione-centric orgies >_>.
* Squicks/Won't Write: Rape, non-con/dub-con, violence, D/s, watersports, scat, adultery, other fetish/kink, crossdressing, feminine men, fisting, and torture.
