Mucus plug is a GOOD sign! Cramping is a good sign!!!

Maybe you've dilated some more and if the cramping keeps up, maybe the could break your water and you could go naturally!!!

My fingers are crossed for you that this happens, becuase I know you don't want to be induced.

Don't read anymore - I know your are uber-intellegent and that you want to be informed, as would I if I were you.... but, like you, I have a hyperactive imagination and would freak myself out. You don't want to be too scared when this starts.

Stay calm and read harry potter, not webmd. :)

Just keep telling yourself that you're going to be induced and your body will rebel and do it on it's own!

Those are all very good signs that your body is doing what it is meant to do. Can you hold off on the induction for 24-48 hours? Even if you do go in for an induction it is much safer and will actually work better if you've shown signs of labour. Get out and walk...walk walk walk walk...and power walk! Are you drinking RRLT?

You can do this, Mama!!!
