damn.

So I ordered these shoes, and I've tried them in two sizes, and they're just too uncomfortable for the wedding.

So I'm back to square one. I want lowish heels in ivory that are pretty, and will look nice with a lacy wedding dress.

Any ideas?

I can't really help. I found mine randomly at Shoe Carnival or Famous Footware or some place like that. You might have better luck when spring shoes really hit the stores in like March. Although, I know that's cutting it kinda close.

Shoe shopping? WHY ALLOW ME (to go hogwild and probably be little to no help).

I thought this was pretty, and it has a chunkier heel which, for me at least, is easier to get around on than a wee little pointy heel.

These are 'spensive, but completely beautiful. And they look like they just MIGHT be sort of comfortable.

If you're not 100% set on the idea of heels, ballet flats could work out very well for you, since you're naturally tall and they're adorable shoes, and almost as comfortable as going barefoot. Also: a very romantic look.

I can't really offer any good advice from personal experience, as I just grabbed a pair of silver heels from Payless for my wedding because I am basically very trashy.

oooh, I second your first offering.

As to the ballet flats, that is very, very, very funny because El/Jess gets off on being very tall and is looking forward to being over 6 feet tall and towering over the rest of us puny humans like the 5'4" midgets that we are.

That just made me laugh :)

ALSO EL: I got my ceremony shoes at Nordstroms. I also second Erin's idea of waiting till a little later till the spring shoes come out, but I also know you don't have a Nordstrom's down there and so if you want to go when you're up next weekend, it might be a fresh opportunity (besides, who turns down shopping?)

SHOPPING GOOD.

I can elaborate if needs be, but I think we know each other that that's unnecessary. :)

Great options! I really like the first pair but I'm afraid they'll hurt in the same way as the ones I ordered before because the strap across the toes is the same shape. The ballet flats are intriguing, but I'd have to see them on, because having size 9.5 feet flats tend to make me look like I've got boats from the ankle down. But it's worth a shot, because that "basically barefoot" is very appealing.

Thank you!
