the fact that Dairine, having encountered her fair share of part-machine part-something-else intelligences, always addresses the TARDIS as "she,"
It's the little details that make or break stories. And she, more than anyone else in the YW universe, would recognize the TARDIS as far more than a simple machine.

I love the way Dairene describes Roshaun's situation: "I lost my best friend recently". Something about the implications, that she lost him, and so she can find him again.
Also, being Dairene, of course she would chase the Doctor down rather than wait to bump into him. And of course they would go and see Star Wars together. <3

That is exactly why I wrote "lost." It may be the smallest chance imaginable, but she can find him.
