This morning, one of our neighbor's cats was prowling around our yard. Since Lola was nearby, I picked her up to let her see, since she's been curious in the past when she's seen another cat outside. Woooo! One grande iced mocha latte and I'm freakin' wired! It doesn't usually hit me quite this hard, although I do usually feel the effects to some degree. My best friend J is expecting her baby any day now if she hasn't had her already. She's chosen the name Cecilia, which I'm quite fond of -- leading to Simon and Garfunkel's song to be going through my head a lot. Oddly enough, I remember humming along to that song while playing solitaire in college, with J telling me to knock off the humming! hee!

I've had a package of iron-on transfers for a while and I figured I'd put them to use finally. I made up a logo for my black cat project and I'll go ahead and put that onto a t-shirt. I did my first duct tape project yesterday. It's a mirror compact and it turned out damn good, if I say so myself. It was surprisingly quick and easy to do, too.
